For those who have not yet heard the news, we have a new vicar! The Rev Clive Todd, currently Rector of the Lower Swale in North Yorkshire, was appointed last week as Team Rector Designate and will be licensed in April. He will have responsibility for Shalfleet…. Thorley, Calbourne, Newtown…. Brighstone, Shorwell…. (hope you’re keeping up?), Mottistone and Brook. So no pressure! Clive currently has responsibility for 8 churches in Yorkshire, so it should be a breeze.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Carol Service this afternoon (Saturday 16th December), starting at 5 pm. Mulled wine and hot mince pies will, of course, be there after the service, and we have some cracking carols to sing. See you there!
