As the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness kicks in with a vengeance (anyone else admit to having lit a fire yet this year?), we are much looking forward to our Harvest Festival on Sunday at 11 am. Chloe is busy baking bread, Maureen has been busy baking cakes, and I’m busy restocking our supplies of cider and sausage rolls.

Harvest is such a lovely time of year, and a timely reminder of the bounty of the earth, and our great fortune in living in a part of the world unaffected by natural disasters of the sort wreaking havoc in the Caribbean and beyond.

Do come along and join us, and there will be plenty of refreshments to enjoy after the service.

See you there!
