We were delighted on 28th July to welcome back to Shalfleet a Scout troop from Brockham in the Mole Valley area of Surrey. The troop travelled over to the Island in their distinctive red double decker bus, and attended our service in church, led by Rev Mark.
The Brockham scouts have visited St Michael’s a number of times in the past, most recently in 2017, and it was a great pleasure to welcome them back. After the service we took them up the tower, where they enjoyed some lovely weather and good views out to the creek.
We hope to see them back in Shalfleet before too long.
