With grateful thanks to Diana Chesterton, there will be an Open Garden at Oakwood, Cranmore Avenue, on Sunday 17th June, from 2.30. All are most welcome, with funds raised going to the Shalfleet Church Fabric Trust.
There will be a Bring and Buy Stall, a Raffle, a Produce Stall, and lots of delicious tea and cake. Do come to relax in this lovely garden and soak up the sun.
And talking of soaking up the sun, on Saturday 30th June Shalfleet School are having their Summer Fayre from 12.00 to 3.00 pm.

As the poster shows, there will be plenty to keep you entertained, from bouncy castles to go karts, live music and tractors.
And while we are enjoying all this lovely sunshine, spare a thought for the team looking after the churchyard. Rhod and his merry band of helpers would love to see you as they work to keep the churchyard looking nice and cared for. It makes such a difference, as the hundreds of people attending the funeral of Phil Morley last Saturday will testify. Do give Rhod a call if you are able to help or drop me an email and I will pass your details on.
